TrackMan 4 vs Golfzon TwoVisionNX: Which Indoor Golf Simulator Is Better?

If you’re researching indoor golf simulators, two names come up more than any others: TrackMan and Golfzon.

Both are premium systems. Both are trusted worldwide. But they’re built for very different types of golfers.

Whether you’re joining a winter league, booking an indoor golf session, or deciding where to play in Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Burlington, Grimsby, Beamsville, or Brantford, this guide breaks down the real differences between TrackMan 4 and Golfzon TwoVisionNX — and which simulator is actually better for most indoor golfers.

The Short Answer

TrackMan 4 is best for high-level swing analysis and ball-flight data
Golfzon TwoVisionNX is best for realistic course play, leagues, putting, and social golf

If your goal is to play golf indoors, not just analyze swings, Golfzon usually comes out on top.

What Is TrackMan 4?

TrackMan 4 uses advanced dual radar technology to track ball flight and club data with extreme precision. It’s widely used by:

Tour professionals
Teaching pros
Club fitters
Competitive golfers

TrackMan 4 Strengths

Industry-leading ball flight accuracy
Extremely detailed swing and club data
Excellent for lessons and coaching
Strong practice and training tools

TrackMan 4 Limitations Indoors

Simplified putting experience
No terrain or lie simulation
Course play feels more like practice
Less engaging for leagues and groups

TrackMan shines when data and analysis are the priority.

What Is Golfzon TwoVisionNX?

Golfzon TwoVisionNX is designed to replicate real golf, not just measure it.

Using high-speed cameras, advanced graphics, and a moving swing plate, Golfzon creates a full course-playing experience that feels remarkably close to outdoor golf.

Golfzon TwoVisionNX Strengths

Moving swing plate simulating:
- Uphill and downhill lies
- Ball above or below feet
- Sidehill lies
Fully playable, realistic putting
Auto-tee system
Real bunker and rough conditions
Designed for leagues, competition, and social play

Golfzon focuses on playing the game, not just tracking numbers.

Which Simulator Is Better for Indoor Golf Leagues?

For league play, Golfzon TwoVisionNX clearly has the advantage.

Indoor golf leagues depend on:

Fair handicapping
Consistent putting
Realistic lies
Engaging weekly formats

Golfzon supports:

Full 9-hole and 18-hole rounds
Team vs team competition
Skins games
Closest-to-the-pin and longest drive
Net and gross scoring

TrackMan leagues often rely on shortcuts for putting and lies, which can feel less authentic over an entire season.

Which Is Better for Beginners and Casual Golfers?

Golfzon again stands out.

Less data overload
More intuitive gameplay
Putting feels natural
Terrain teaches real shot-making

TrackMan can feel intimidating for new golfers, while Golfzon feels approachable, fun, and game-focused.

Which Simulator Feels More Like Real Golf?

If realism matters to you, Golfzon TwoVisionNX is difficult to beat.

You stand on a moving surface
Lies change like they do outdoors
Putting requires real reads and speed control
Courses feel immersive and alive

TrackMan delivers real ball flight — but Golfzon delivers real golf rounds.

What makes our golf simulators different?

Our GolfZon simulators offer one of the most advanced indoor golf experiences in the world, with features designed to make every round feel like the real thing:

Automatic Ball Teeing – No bending or chasing balls; the system tees it up for you every time.
Tilting Swing Plate – The hitting platform lifts and tilts to recreate uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies.
Short Game Realism – From chips and putts to flop shots, Golfzon’s short game play is as true-to-life as it gets.
Unmatched Accuracy – Overhead high-speed cameras capture club and ball data with incredible precision, including ball speed, spin, carry, and trajectory.
300+ Courses Worldwide – Play on some of the best courses from around the globe, all in stunning detail.

What is the VIP Bay?

Our VIP Bay is a private, premium simulator space designed for an elevated golf experience. It features a Golfzon simulator with all the same advanced technology—moving swing plate, auto-tee, and world-class courses—but in a larger, enclosed room with extra seating and comfort. It’s perfect for private groups, corporate events, celebrations, or anyone looking for a little more space and exclusivity while they play.

Does the floor really move?

Yes, it does! The Golfzon hydraulic swing plate lifts and tilts to recreate uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies for a truly realistic challenge. You’ll also find different hitting surfaces—fairway, rough, and sand—to match your shot. And no shortcuts: the system knows where the ball is and will apply a distance penalty if you hit from the wrong area.

How many players can use one bay?

Each simulator bay can comfortably accommodate 4 players. It’s ideal for solo practice sessions, friendly games, or group events like leagues and parties.

How long does it take to play 18 holes?

A single player can complete 18 holes in about 1 hour. Groups of 4 usually take around 3 – 4 hours, depending on the pace of play.

Do I need to bring my own golf clubs and balls?

We recommend bringing your own clubs for the most authentic experience, but we also have rental sets available if needed. Golfzon simulators are designed to work with all standard clubs. As for balls, you don’t need to bring any—our simulators use high-quality balls specifically designed for accurate play and tracking.

Is there an app to track my stats?

Yes! The free Golfzon app (available on Google Play and the App Store) records all your rounds and keeps track of your stats once you create a profile. You’ll be able to see your average driving distance, fairway and green percentages, and average putts per round. After a few games, the app even calculates your handicap—perfect for use in our leagues and tournaments.

Where is the racing simulator located?

Our racing simulator is exclusively available at our Stoney Creek location at Albatross Indoor Golf.
